The Nerds were called in for a emergency Elf on the Shelf repair at Danny’s house.  Hear how he’s keeping the Elf alive and boys happy.   Vinnie share’s a quick thanksgiving injury before launching into his Holiday gift warning and must buy alert.  These dads debate the merits of fart toys and what is a must buy.   Danny attempts again to guess “What Did Vinnie Do” as he shares a recent exchange over flag football practice with Shane.

49 End of Summer – Back to School



New intro music alert – same old podcast, new music.. Thanks Zack Greenstein @zgwiardzee   It’s end of summer and Danny and Vinnie are transitioning from Summer Dads to Fall Dads.  What does it all mean?   Change can be stressful this week you can hear about Vinnie’s need to work out and desire to calm down, Danny provides his tips on relaxation and including breathing exercises.    Sound off on how you feel about a staggered school start date and if you love or hate the end of summer…these Dads are divided.   Hear Danny’s Dad Win and Fail as he designs shirts with kids but forgets to share pics while Vinnie is crushing being a soccer Dad but losing his temper at the sametime.

44 A Wife’s Perspective; Husbanding Hard with Amanda Godino-Henry #Metoo. PLUS Breaking News Changes Coming to DSH



Danny and Vinnie have breaking news on changes to the podcast, but first they have an opportunity to welcome the first Mom to the podcast.  Amanda Henry-Godino is Vinnie’s work wife, podcast fan and wife to a man who Dad’s hard daily.  She stops by to applaud them on their work and provide tips and advice on how to keep their wives happy.  Amanda schools Vinnie on the right way to schedule a vacation.  Vinnie reveals the lengths he went to star in his wife’s baby bump photo shoot as well as how he’s been handling talking to his kids about current events in the news they learn about at camp.  At the end of the episode the fellas say good-bye to their beloved Daniel who has decided to retire from the podcast.  This will be the final recording at the original DSH studios.
